RLSS AGM and Conference

The Religious Life Safeguarding Service (RLSS) warmly invites members, partners, and safeguarding stakeholders to join us for the RLSS AGM and Safeguarding Conference 2026. This two day event brings together those committed to strengthening safeguarding across Religious Life, offering space for learning, connection, and shared purpose.
Day One: RLSS AGM & Gala Dinner
Monday 27 April 2026 – RLSS members only
The event opens with the RLSS Annual General Meeting, followed by an evening Gala Dinner. This is an opportunity for members to reflect on the year’s progress, engage in strategic discussion, and connect with colleagues in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Day Two: Safeguarding Conference
Tuesday 28 April 2026 – Open to all
Our full day Safeguarding Conference brings together safeguarding leads, trustees, Religious, clergy, volunteers, and professionals from across the sector. The programme will explore current safeguarding themes, practical approaches, and emerging challenges within Religious Life. Delegates will benefit from:
- Insightful keynote sessions
- Practical workshops
- Opportunities for reflection and dialogue
- Networking with peers and safeguarding specialists
This annual gathering is a key moment to contribute to best practice, deepen understanding, and support a culture of safety, accountability, and care across Religious Life.
